  • COMMERCIAL LENDING/PORTFOLIO MANAGER

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for a Commercial Lending/Portfolio Manager.

    Duties will include developing new business from both existing and new clients.  Managing commercial relationships to deliver superior customer service and ensure that borrowers meet the risk criteria of the Bank.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of commercial credit analysis and 5 years of commercial loan business development and relationship management experience.  Additionally, they will have experience in effectively managing a significant number of diverse relationships while balancing both business growth and credit quality.  Solid analytical and communications skills required.


  • ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for an Assistant Branch Manager.

     

    Some of the essential duties include assisting in the supervision and coordination of daily branch activities; assuming responsibility for branch operation in the absence of the Branch Manager; responsible for processing of collateral and installment loan applications; interviewing mortgage loan applicants, process forms, request credit reports and appraisals; perform administrative and operational duties required to open, transfer, change or close deposit accounts, checking accounts or IRA’s; cross sell bank products and services; assist Branch Manager in the development of new business; responsible for obtaining SBLI licensing and completing educational requirements to maintain license.

     

    The qualified applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or Bank related courses or one to two years’ related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


  • RESIDENTIAL LOAN SPECIALIST (formerly Mortgage Originator)

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for a Residential Loan Specialist.

    Some of the essential duties are to originate mortgage loans conforming to all Bank policies and procedures; interview mortgage customers, inform applicants of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures; provide estimate of closing costs and all required disclosure information. Provide convenient interviewer services for residential mortgage applicants including off site and after hours interviews. 

    Candidates must be familiar with conventional, adjustable, construction/permanent and CHFA mortgages.  Must have the ability to utilize a laptop and have a familiarity with secondary market guidelines.

    Commissions pay this position.

    The qualified applicant should have a high school education with some college and at least two (2) years experience as a Mortgage Originator.


  • BANK OPERATIONS - EIM CLERK

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for a clerk in the Bank Operations Department.

     

    Some of the essential duties include resolving daily EIM items and notify the MIS operator to run the updated program in a timely manner; process branch e-mail adjustments, FED adjustments, Fleet collections, domestic and foreign collections; reconciling monthly savings reports; preparing on-us checks for return and mail out customers notices; be cross-trained to help in other areas of the department.  Must be able to handle calls from other departments of the bank and resolve issues regarding operational procedures.

    The qualified applicant should be a High School graduate or have a general education degree; or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience.  Must have PC experience in Word and Excel. 


  • QUALITY CONTROL CLERK

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for a Quality Control Clerk in the Commercial Credit Department.  

     

    Reporting to the SVP of Commercial Credit the incumbent provides general loan administration support to the commercial loan portfolio.  Some essential duties and responsibilities include: maintains AIM tracking of all financial statements, property and hazard insurance, UCC, and Letter of Credit; reviews set up of commercial credit files; downloads monthly data from ITI system to AIM system and creates CR numbers to new loans.  

    Qualifications for this position are High School diploma equivalency with 6 months to 1 year relevant experience in loan origination, processing and servicing.  Requires knowledge of Word, Excel, the ITI system and ITI. 


  • SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST

    Farmington Savings Bank has an opening for a Senior Credit Analyst in the Commercial Credit Department.  

     

    Incumbent will be responsible to provide independent analysis and review of credits in support of safe and sound banking practices and in compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures. 

     

    Some of the essential duties are to perform commercial credit analysis, review and prepare loan proposals for individual credits of $250M and greater, plus all CDA and SBA applications; assist with review of selected loan and collateral documentation for adequacy. 

    The qualified applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
