RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyzies credit information to determine commercial credit risk
• Provides independent analysis/underwriting review of credit in support of sound lending practices in compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures
• Assists with review of selected loan and collateral documentation for adequacy
• Makes recommendations on new credit and structuring/restructuring credits to reduce lose potential
• Assists in preparation of reports produced by the Credit Department on the status of the Bank’s portfolio
• Remains current with new regulations and procedures as required to ensure the Bank is in compliance as it applies to the Credit Department
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree equivalency required
• Minimum of two to four years experience in the credit field or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial spreading software and accounting concepts
• Basic macroeconomic concepts and strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills required
• Proficiency with Word and Excel
